Website enquiries
The website enquiry form is for parents, guardians and adult learners. It asks for your name and email, a student’s first name and grade, the support requested, an optional goal and an optional phone number. The enquiry is sent to our Refresh Kid learning portal so our team can respond and coordinate next steps. An enquiry does not enrol a student or authorize a payment.
The form uses a session cookie and security checks to submit the enquiry. Consent to a response about your enquiry is not consent to unrelated marketing. Please do not submit a child’s full name, date of birth, school records or sensitive documents through this form.
Introduction
Refresh Kid (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides online tutoring, courses, and academic support for students and families. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information when you visit our website, book services, or communicate with us.
By using our services, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our website and services.
Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly and information collected automatically when you use our site.
Information you provide
- Account and contact details: name, email address, phone number, and similar identifiers when you register, book a class, or contact us.
- Student and family information: grade level, learning goals, subject interests, and messages you send about tutoring needs.
- Payment-related information: billing details are processed by our payment partners; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Communications: content of emails, chat messages, or forms you submit to Refresh Kid.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: browser type, IP address, general location (region), pages viewed, and time spent on pages.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used to remember preferences, improve performance, and understand how visitors use our site.
Refresh Kid Refund and Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and missed-session compensation work for Refresh Kid subscriptions and tutoring sessions.
Cancellations
- Cancellation Method: Cancellations must be submitted via email to finance@refreshkid.com.
- Cancellation Deadline: To receive a full refund, cancellations must be received at least 15 days prior to your billing date. Cancellations received after this deadline will be processed for the following month.
- Required Information: Please include the student's name, parent's name, and the last 4 digits of the subscription card used in your email.
- Reason for Cancellation: We appreciate you including the reason for your cancellation, but it is not mandatory.
Refunds
- Refund Processing: Refunds are processed within 30 business days of receiving your cancellation request.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the subscription.
- 6-Month and 1-Year Registrations: Refunds for these plans will be prorated based on the monthly price of the equivalent month-to-month plan, minus a $45 processing fee.
Compensation for Missed Sessions
- 1:1 Sessions: We offer session compensation if notified at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled session. Please email studentservices@refreshkid.com to cancel and reschedule.
- Group Sessions: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer compensation for missed group sessions. However, your child can attend another group of the same level with the same or another qualified teacher.

Children’s privacy and parent enquiries
Refresh Kid supports families with children, including students under 13. Under-13 learning-portal accounts are linked to a parent or guardian. A linked account does not by itself establish the parental consent required for collecting a child’s personal information.
Before registering a child under 13 or allowing them to submit personal information, contact us for the applicable privacy information and parental permission steps. Please use an adult’s contact details in the website enquiry form.
A parent or guardian can contact admin@refreshkid.com or call 414-367-7268 to request access to, correction of or deletion of their child’s information, or to ask about stopping further collection. We may need to verify the requester’s identity and relationship to the child before acting.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide services, meet legal or accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it in line with our internal policies.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we encourage you to use strong passwords and safeguard your account credentials.
Your Choices & Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access or receive a copy of personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Request deletion, subject to legal exceptions.
- Opt out of certain marketing communications.

Cookies & optional measurement
The enquiry form uses necessary session and security features. Adult visitors can separately choose Google Analytics measurement and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising measurement on selected public marketing pages. Both choices are optional and default to off for new visitors. Existing Meta choices do not grant permission for Google Analytics. Declining does not prevent access to tutoring, resources or enquiries.
Google Analytics: if you choose it, Google Tag Manager loads our Google Analytics tag to measure visits and successful enquiries. Google receives page-view and successful-enquiry events, browser/device and cookie information, and processes IP addresses to derive approximate location. This release does not enable Google advertising signals or advertising personalization. Page URLs omit fragments and query parameters except validated campaign UTM parameters; referring URLs are reduced to their origin. Automatic Enhanced Measurement is off. Google Analytics may also collect its standard session and engagement events. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Meta: if you choose it, Meta Pixel receives page views and a Lead event after our website confirms a successful enquiry. Meta may receive your IP address, browser/device information, page URL, advertising click identifiers and cookie identifiers, and may use this information for advertising measurement and personalization. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
This installation does not send enquiry form entries, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, student details or goals, as analytics event parameters or advanced matching data. Meta automatic matching and automatic event detection are off. These measurement scripts are limited to selected marketing pages; this release does not install them on lessons, subject guides or the separate learning portal. The privacy-policy page offers choices but sends no measurement events.
Use Privacy choices at the bottom of participating pages to change either choice. Select the services you want, then choose “Save choices — I'm 18 or older,” or choose “Keep both off.” We remember each choice in this browser for up to 180 days. Withdrawal stops future measurement from this installation and clears accessible first-party measurement cookies; it does not undo information already sent. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track by keeping both off. Do not opt in if you are under 18.
Hosting providers may use operational logs and necessary service technology. Contact admin@refreshkid.com with privacy questions. Search Console reports Google Search performance separately; it does not require a visitor-tracking script.
Third-Party Links
Our website may link to third-party sites or tools (for example, video conferencing or calendar tools). Those services have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
International Users
Refresh Kid operates primarily in the United States. If you access our services from other countries, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other locations where we or our vendors operate.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated policy.
